About ShowRYA
ShowRYA is a competition platform for artists who have no way to be heard. It exists because of four things we think are wrong with how talent competitions work.
Money buys the win.
On television the result often belongs to whoever's audience spent the most. Paid votes, vote packs, a hundred SIM cards. The best artist in the room loses to the best funded one, and everybody watching knows it. That is a disrespect to the art, and to everyone who gave years to it.
Can someone move this result by spending money?
Where you live decides whether you can enter.
Auditions happen in a handful of cities. If you are not near one you were never in the running. Not judged and found wanting. Never seen at all. Talent is spread evenly across a country. Auditions are not.
Does this require the contestant to be in a particular place?
Ordinary life is disqualifying.
Onsite rounds assume you can take days off, pay for travel, and wait around to be seen. Shift work, a job, children, someone to care for. Any one of them ends it. The competition quietly selects for free time, then calls the result talent.
Can someone holding down a job, with no money to spare, finish this?
Someone else picks who is even seen.
By the time the audience votes, producers have already chosen the shortlist and the edit. The public is handed a decision that has largely been made for it. We would rather the audience find people nobody put in front of them.
Who decided this contestant was worth showing, and could the audience have found them without us?

You cannot buy a vote on ShowRYA. Not one, and not a thousand.

How audience votes and judge scoring combine is still being worked out. It will be published alongside the rules before entries close. That votes cannot be bought is not part of that discussion.
